An odd watered-malty aroma and flavor, as if from dry malt extract. Absolutely one of the worst examples of labeling on the can that I've ever seen -- a really lousy marketing job. Watery light beer. The low rating actually has more to do with its neuteredness than its foulness.

All you Bud Light drinkers (sheep) can just keep drinking your crap. That leaves more Lone Star Light for me! If you don’t think it’s good enough to pass through your lips then keep in mind that it just won the GOLD MEDAL at the 2002 Great American Beer Festival as BEST LIGHT BEER IN AMERICA! A high price doesn’t have a damn thing to do with the quality of a beer. For a light brew, this one has flavor and character. It deserves a better rating than some of the people have given it. Keep an open mind and compare this light beer to any other.

Back in the day, Lone Star sold this stuff in a 21-pack for the price of 18. THis is white trash farmer beer, or in my case, south texas high school beer.
