1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 oh6gdx (16084) - Vasa, - OCT 21, 2006
Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour in this one pretty much like in the "normal" version, but I do feel like this one may have a bit of rice or maize in it, since along with a slight hoppyness it has a strange sweetness in it. Not too bad, but most likely not needed to buy this one again... Has a bit same issues as Bud has with the "Swedish" Bud 3.5%, the lower % beer tastes more... erraneous! Got both Lone Star and this from a friend who just came back after a few years in the states... without knowing I rate beer, so I was happy that he had brought some stuff with him and he decided to let me taste a "few" new ones...

Drank this from the bottle on a warm day riding a motor bike. Just to cool down and have some fun in a bike place. For that it is just fine, don’t think I need to say more. (Houston 201205)

Wow, if ever there was a forgettable beer, this is it. Lone Star is at least an iconic brand, known across the (expansive) state as a classic vehicle for alcohol while the band plays in the background. But the light version? Meh, bring on the Shiner!

[Bottle] Pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grains, corn and metal. Weak taste of grains, sweet vegetables and some cardboard. Watery and thin palate. Not many good qualities here, as expected.

Can @ home, "gift" from friend, yeah "thanks".
Very Pale chemical yellow, small instantly disspating head.
Aroma is old fowl cardboardbox wine with a metallic sidenote.
Flavour is metal contaminated sodawater with a touch of the old cardboardboxwine.
Hard to believe people actually drink this stuff.

2010 Can - Pours clear light yellow with a large white head...aroma is faint, corn malt and cereal...flavour is similar, this isn’t anywhere near as bad as regular Lone Star, it is basically neutral in both flavour and alcohol, so unless you hate water, this isn;t that bad...

Had at the bar in a bottle, no glass was served nor did I see the point in really pouring this into a glass. Light in color. Sweet smell, no real hop smell. Sweet like the rice you get with sushi taste. Extremely light in the mouth, as expected. Yeah, you can drink it, but really why would you?
I had this after drinking several SN Pale Ales at the bar. This beer makes me understand why I love craft beers. Lone Star Light certainly has its place in the ber world, but for me, it isn’t something I would really like to drink again.

Can thanks to Swalden28. The look is clear, light yellow in color, and not much white head. The smell and taste are watery, corn, weak, floral, and not much going on.
