Sampler at HEB. Even worse than I expected. Do you need details? Dark amber, no head. Smelled of caramel and alcohol. Tasted like someone mixed brown sugar into BMC. Didn’t even finish the ounce.

Amber pour with an off-white head. Caramel, toffee, toasted bread, and prune sweetness. Cardboard, vegetables, grass, and some apple. The flavor is sweet caramel, prunes, toast, toffee, and bread. Kind of cardboardy and vegetal. Some apple, grass, and water.

Lone Star Bock has essentially no head, but one can get a thin, beige one if the bottle is swished & poured in. No lacing, here. The appearance is clear, highly bubbly, and amber. Aroma is faint, but one can detect some sweet caramel. Taste is of sweetness, lots of toffee, bread crust, and a touch of hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Lone Star Bock finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and quite drinkable. For a light-bodied bock, this is nice, and I would say it can be described at being very good. RJT

This is nt as bad as the ratings show. Bottle. Caramel and sugar in aroma. Med palate. Taste is over carbonated and too sweet but drinkable

Bottle. It’s a beer. Nothing terribly interesting to say about it. It tastes a little darker than the typical MillerCoors brews. Not worth a trip to Texas, though.

Bottle. The look is copper colored, thin white head, and very clear. The smell is caramel, sweet, candy, and malt. The taste is a sweet sticky mess not my thing.

Pours the color of appled juice. Minimal head. Aroma of stale hay. Mild spice with slightly burnt finish. Watery. Not great but drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from central market. Pours a copper orange color with a white foamy head. Aroma is a lot of grains and perhaps some adjuncts as well. Yes, this is very noticeable on the nose. Flavor has a lot of grain flavor and some corny notes. Bitter finish.

By far the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. I would rather drink Natural light for the rest of my life than try another sip of this beer. Couldn’t make it past the first sip.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is corn malt and metal. Thin mouthfeel with a light pecan malt with nice sweet finish. A decent dunkler bock from Lone Star.
