I was asked by a guy outside of a club in Chicago what Pabst Blue Ribbon was, because he saw signs everywhere for it. When I explained it he told me about Lone Star and how they have signs for a it all over Austin Tx. Now that I had one I donít know which is worse, or are they the same swill?

Per5haps they brew it stonger in Canada (Mine was 5.2%). So its aslightly better than most American beers... But its also very similar to water.

Better than Blue Ribbon I suppose. Havenít drank this in a while, but I recall the easiness to drink it at a Texas BBQ. And also ícause they didnít have anything else!

The first thing I learned in college was how to fill a cup with Lone Star without loosing any beer! Standard by the keg for the outfits at A&M!

I donít know how I over looked this beer? thought I had rated it? Well, pours a clear gold, fair head and lace, nose weak malt, start malt sweet, middle thin, the finish moderately carbonated, some hops, altogether quite bland.
