Tasting from small growler. Thanks to Dennis and Leeann. Pours a thin white head, short retention, over a gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is light clove, allspice.....taste is allspice, clove, citrus peel, pepper on the finish, with a final light lingering bitterness.......mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is quite a typical Saison. The only real flaw is the low carbonation, and that might be a result of the vessel used. BJCP 7/3/14/4/6

Tap @ Lone Tree. Hazy, orangish golden appearance with a white head. The aroma is quite sweet and fruity (apple, peach, orange) and more reminiscent of a belgian ale. Again, the flavor is pretty sweet and lacks the dry, spicy elements that I enjoy in saisons; the flavor is mostly a fruit cocktail of apple, banana, peach, and mango. Too bad.

sonnycheeba (3569) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Tap. Pours cloudy gold with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is biscuit and cookie malt, herbs, floral and grassy hops, candy sugar, and citrus. Flavor is a good balance of sweet malt, light hops, and light fruit esters; dry finish. Light body, medium carbonation, and medium warmth.

On tap at Lone Tree poured a hazy gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, lemon, yeast and spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, yeast, spice and citrus with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish.

arminjewell (6217) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Pour on tap at the brewery, very hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of spice, grass and floral notes, hints of some biscuit, bready and yeasty notes, touch of slight acidity and a funky note. Taste was a mix of sweet fruit with pear and grape, hints of spice, grassy and floral notes as well, more spice and a slight funk, finished fairly dry.
