On tap at the very first brewery tour. Dark pour with a nice tan head/ Roasted malt dominates the nose. Coffee, bitter chocolate, and just a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Looking forward to drinking this again.

On tap. A tasty porter with no apparent flaws, plenty of flavor, and very limited burnt or char character. Mainstream; true to style.

Bottle from Bruisin. Not much aroma. Some fruit (plum?). Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Notes of milk chocolate mousse. Perhaps a little leather. Pretty nice porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle from Bruisin. Pours a dark brown color with a large frothy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, nutty notes, mild tobacco and very faint fruits. The taste is nutty notes, sesame, roasted malts, chocolate, faint brown sugar and even fainter hops. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, low carbonation. Overall pretty solid.

Taster on tap at Barley’s during RBWG 2014. Dark brown color. Leaves good, thicker lace. Nice earthy hop in the nose, good dark chocolate malty [fruit]. Awesome texture. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Medium-plus body. Moderate bigger bitter taste, little sweet. Very nice hoppy porter. Hint of nice light dark fruit to it, well balanced with the hops.
