COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peace is a dangerous thing. Peacemaker is a west coast style American Pale Ale that uses several hop varieties to produce a unique and bountiful hop aroma with balanced bitterness. A special blend of American and European malts make this a very well rounded, characterful beer.

Tap at the brewery recently. This used to be hoppier or maybe my palate has changed. Not really a "west coast pale ale" as stated on their board but still okay enough to have a couple. Clear amber pour thin khaki head. Aroma is caramel, butter and light stale hop. Hard to believe this is fermented w/ chico yeast as the diacetyl is a little aggressive at times.

On draft at the brewery last June. Clear amber pour with a slight off white head. Tropical hop nose. Nice taste, solid honeydew hop and citrus bitter finish. Still a little sweet in the finish.

A pretty decent pale ale. Light grassy hoppiness, some earthy sweetness. Tried at the DC Drink the District Derby Days with Matt and Justin.

Clear deep gold body with a tall off-white head. Light malt and hop aroma. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side for what I like in an American Pale Ale. This could also pass for an Amber Ale..

12 oz. Pours a clear burnt orange with a lasting blanket of creamy foam. Nose is a muddle of earthy spiced tea, toast, green herb and orange-molasses. Front tastes of earthy toasted malt and honey. Middle fades in with some resin and develops into a long finish of minty dry leaf, grass and earthy orange zest. Light-medium body has a pleasant, medium level of carbonation.
