COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peace is a dangerous thing. Peacemaker is a west coast style American Pale Ale that uses several hop varieties to produce a unique and bountiful hop aroma with balanced bitterness. A special blend of American and European malts make this a very well rounded, characterful beer.

Bottle. The pour was a clear medium amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) off-white fluffy head that reduced to a few puddles and a medium collar of residue, producing some excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was kind of light with a grain malt, floral hops and a mild earthy yeast and had notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit). The taste was lightly bittersweet with a mild caramel note at first, then became intensely hoppy and quite bitter with a nice hint of citrus towards the end. The flavor lasted an average duration with the nice bitter hoppy taste left to linger. Mouthfeel was a bit beyond light in body with a dry oily texture and a almost prickly carbonation. Overall an impressive Pale Ale that had more of a hoppy flavor than I expected...

Malt sweet no hop at all. Not very impressive. Not west coast at all. Not much aroma ok mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Cloudy copper color off white head. Musty and off malt aroma, not pleasant. Carries through to the taste ... Nothing pale ale here. Label said 4 months old if right.

Can from somewhere in GA. Aroma is light citrus, mild hops. Taste is the same. Drinkable but definitely not approaching anything close to a West Coast PA (as advertised).

Old rating. Solid no nonsense hop forward pale. Nothing great, but no main detractor. Citrus and slightly grassy.

12oz can, thanks to tmoney99 for giving this to me about 2 weeks ago. Bottom of can reads best by 02/12/15 it looks like, but I’m sure Tom picked this up very recently. Rating it here now because it’s likely an accurate representation of what consumers can find on the shelf. Hazier orange color. Finger of off-white head, kind of white. Good ridges of lace. Good citrusy hop to it, kind of spicy, touch of metallic. Some biscuity malt, mild caramel. Moderate sweet taste, lighter bitterness. Medium-plus bdy. Smooth, kind crisp lighter carbonation. Slick texture. Significantly better between bites of my pizza, pretty damn solid really, nothing off about it noticeable when masked with food. Solid hoppy pale ale - great fresh, probably. Bit of staleness kind of holds things back a bit here, though. Not as much as expected, though.

Can. Poured clear dark golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex hop and earthy aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. This beer met my expectations.

Aromas are bready, kind of like sourdough, grainy, and limey citrus. Slightly hazy orange-copper with a somewhat lasting white head. Dry, pretty well balanced, a little doughy, some notes of berry candy. Light-medium bodied.

Canned. Amber, very slight haze. Decent head. Smells a little oxidized; the hops are there but not really punchy. Not really outstanding or memorable but a decent beer I wouldn’t mind having a few of. A little diacetyl as it warms up; not too bad at this level in the beer.

Can shared by RussianDragon. Copper body, slightly hazy with a thin off-white collar. Fruity malt, a bit buttery. Mild hop character with a light bitterness. The diacetyl aspect really detracts from the flavor. Mediocre.

12 oz can given me to a rep visiting the DC area. Many thanks! Pours a hazy orange with last offwhite foamy head. Aroma is... diacetyl hops and slight iron... hm. Upon further inspection, the print on the bottom of the can says "Best by 11/04/14". I’d love to try this fresh, but here goes. Flavor is light buttery diaceytl hops. A true review will have to wait.
