COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shotgun Betty is a sexy, tough cowgirl who is always armed and dangerous. Don’t be fooled by her good looks, she will have you for an appetizer! That’s why we picked her to represent our Hefeweizen. Shotgun Betty is a wheat beer with a rich, banana-clove nose and refreshing dry finish. Sound good? Try one, But beware, once Betty gets a hold of you there is no escape.

I had it from the can. The aroma is banana and yeast. The taste is banana, yeast, and slight spice. It was smooth and creamy with some carbonation. This was a decent one.

Banana nutty clove Belgian yeasty aroma and flavors. Taste is a bit flat with a metallic finish. A bit dirty almost. Drinkable and refreshing but nothing special. Has some good qualities, but falls short. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Slight metallic wheat aroma. Somewhat cloudy. Decent carbonation. Smoother bright taste with just a little ill wheat ale attributes. not bad overall. Could drink a few of these. Yes, good mannered hefe attitude on a backbone that lacks all those stupid added spices.

Can. Pours a hazy orange body with a small fizzy white head that faded very quickly. The nose is nicely fruity with some banana and light clove notes over a yeasty wheat malt base. The taste is a little weaker than the aroma comes across. There’s a bit more caramel maltiness and sweetness than I would like, the pale wheat doesn’t come through enough. The yeast isn’t really driving the flavor, and I think that’s what makes a good Hefe. Medium bodied with a slight yeast slurry consistency. This one’s a little heavy and bland for me.
