Bottle. Aroma drops hints of coffee, malt, and chocolate. Pours reddish brown with a light tan head which fades to the rim with a little lace in the center. Taste starts to follow the aroma, but fades into something I can’t place—some kind of toasty bread or something. This beer smells and tastes like a full working bakery. Great all around.

Draft @ RDU Indigo. Low aroma, a little sweetness. Dark brown color, white head, dissipates quickly. Taste is pretty sweet. Didn’t notice any hop bitterness. Med bodied. Overall, a pretty good American Brown. Not really my style.

Can from Whole Foods Market in GA. Aroma is sweet, toasted malts, chocolate. Taste is a touch of hops with a nice malt underbelly. Very balanced...reminded me of something (anything) from Anchor

Can. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average to large frothy tan head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate toasted malt, nuts aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good brew.

Aromas are grapey, caramel, fig, toast, some chocolate. Somewhat clear, brown, minimal head fades pretty quickly. Mostly dry, fruity, plum, nutty, bitterness as it finishes creates a pleasant balance. Medium bodied, good carbonation.
