Using at least six different whole hops and a complex malt base resulting in multiple layers of aroma and flavor that are well integrated and balanced. Dry Hopped to bring out the freshest whole hop aromas and flavors. Copper color with a tight creamy head Expressive hop aroma and flavors with layers of citrusy, floral, perfume-like, resinous, piney, spicy and fruity character including grapefruit and passion fruit supported by the rich and complex malt base. A long finish that is balanced with a firm but restrained bitterness.

At Cheese Bar, Portland. It was listed as Longís Fresh Hop IPA IV, so this may be a different beer? Perhaps a different combination of hops? At any rate, it was good, with a lot of hop character - grassy, stoney, with a crisp, toasty finish.

On draught at St. Paul Fresh Hop Fest. Referred to as Fresh Hop 6. Deep copper color. Caramel and tropical citrus aroma. Taste of citrus, passionfruit, caramel, and a note of malt to balance the bitterness. Pleasing citrus finish.

draft. golden body, lightly hazed. striking hop pungency in the nose. dried citrus, minerals / gravel character,. highly bitter, a bit excessive, actually, leaving it out of balance a tad but itís still nicely dry and crisp, grassy and a tad musty. washes the palate with buzzing acid and carbonation, and though the malt is a bit rough itís a minor complaint. this is how i like IPA.
