COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a low alcohol, sweet and smooth stout. It is balanced with the addition of Kenyan coffee to the finished beer which gives it a nice roasted flavor. This beer is loaded with flaked oats and milk sugar that gives it that cream and coffee breakfast taste.Formerly 3.9% and brewed at New England until the opening of their own plant.

Drain pour, undrinkable. This has to be a bad bottle. Pours black. Nose of sulfur, buttermilk, some roast.

Tap - dark brown - frothy head - nose is light mineral, watery coffee, light char - watery body, moderate char and roast - a bit of diacetyl - slick texture - meh.

Bomber via beer world. A mellow lightly coffee crisp stout. Ease of drink-ability is quite high. The undertone of coffee delights me, as it is not too strong but enough to get noticed. Hardly a head is produced from this seemingly well carbonated bottle. Finish is crisp and quick. Looking forward to trying some of their other brews at TAP NY in a few weeks.

Tap at American Flatbread nyc. This beer has zero redeeming qualities. A complete failure of a beer. Tastes like runny eggs and sewer water. Just bad.

Very thin, yeasty taste. A poor stout effort. Tasted on tap at Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival, 6/16/2012.
