750 ml bottle. Pours a blush pink with no head. This is a still mead. Reminds me of pink Catawba wine. The aroma is very sweet and makes me think of the cough medicine I took as a kid. The flavor is very similar, with a bit of tartness from the raspberries. Not at all cloying though like cough medicine. Rather, the body is thin and a bit watery. Did not care for this one.

Poured a light pink with a white head. the aroma was sweet and fruity with notes of Dimatap Medicine and Peptobismol. Light notes of honey which truthfully I like less than the medicine. The flavor was of honey, fruit and medicine.

Bottle: Looks like a cheap Blush wine. Has a perfumy, artificial fruity nose with some sweet hard candies. Lacking body, especially for the ABV. Tastes like watered down white grape juice and cough medicine. Not good at all.

Shared by PilsnerPeter (thanks?) - good Lord, what manner of evil hath been unleashed upon the earth this time?! - are we certain this isn’t listed in the Bible as one of the plagues? - y’know, locusts, boils, Long Island Strawberry/Raspberry Mead - it’s not in there? - look harder, because it has to be - there should be something in there about some manner of "foul elixir" that smells like Kool-Aid and tastes like Robatussin, that God sent to earth to punish mankind for some horrible indiscretion, like having sex in a position other than the missionary position, or eating meat on a Friday, or something like that - we need to think long and hard about what we’ve done to deserve such a blight - forgive us!

Bottle shared by PilsnerPeter. Tricky folks out there in Holbrook putting a very pale pink/orange mead in a bright red bottle. Aroma is sweet and fairly artifically fruity tasting. Reminiscent of Kool-Aid with a light bit of clover honey. Flavour is quite medicinal and nasty. A hint of berries and clover. Meh.
