COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full bodied amber ale is modeled after the "altbiers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

Solid beer! Always going to remind me of snowboarding trips up in Vermont. Mmmm Microbrews.

Bottle. Smooth texture hint of bitterness. Pours a nice white head. Very enjoyable easy to drink.

Sort of middle of the road. Amber brownish color, small head, not much lace. A bit of a hoppy sweet flavor but pretty much ho hum. I was a little disappointed but it’s not bad at all. There are others in the same category and pricepoint I’d rather have.

Medium red/brown, bright, medium carbonation. Floral aroma, flavor has a strong malt backbone but not much hops for counter balance.

Cool... I get to check Vermont off my list! Toast, wet cardboard, dusty and dry basement and overcooked biscuits on the nose. Pours an appealing dark copper with a good sized head that actually leaves some nice lacing. Fairly bready and watery. Some white bread notes. Grain and bran cereal. Actually... tastes a lot like breakfast cereal. Medium bodied with a pleasant nutty finish. Thanks Tom!

On tap at World Cafe Live. Pours a mostly translucent amber with a medium off white head. Aroma of toffe, toasted grains, vanilla and caramel. Flavor was a lot if the same malty, vanilla, toasted notes and caramel.

Tap/bottled. Toasty light brown in color with a light tan head. Pungent floral and malty aroma. Well balanced and extremely drinkable, mild hop presence played against a sweet malt flavor with subtle nut and citrus undertones.

Light copper color with small white fizzy head. Aroma of malt. Not much flavor except malt. Very drinkable and not too bad.
