3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheHopster (359) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - JAN 30, 2011
(bottle) I’ve had this many times over the years. A nice simple beer to enjoy among common ales. I think Long Trail produces a nice value for their products.

from Mondial de la Bière, Strasbourg - hazy dark red-amber in colour and with a poor foam left; some flowery hoppiness with notes of caramel, rounded palate, medium-bodied and with a subtle but solid carbonation; a late decent bitterness; moderately dry aftertaste with notes of caramel and red fruits
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Scubatrip (551) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - DEC 28, 2010
From the bottle, has a sweetly malty taste with floral hops and a lightly bitter finish. A fine multi-beer beer, nothing special but goes well with many foods. Better from the bottle than many of the tap versions.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 strongpieman (689) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - DEC 16, 2010
Clear, amber, no head. Very mild, smooth, some hop notes and spices. Decent beer, but not memorable good or bad. Complex flavor is redeeming. Give it a try.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Suttree (3765) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 13, 2010
Thanks to grownfool for the trade. Pretty straight forward stuff here I was pretty hard pressed to guess the style. Some caramel, some slight hop bitterness. Nothing offensive, nothing outstanding, either.

Bottle. Copper pour with a short, off-white head. Sweet malt, caramel and spicy hops in the nose. Taste is spicy hops, caramel, sweet malt, grassy notes and light buttered biscuit. Body is medium with a moderate, prickly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, sweet malt, spicy hops, grass and dried fruit.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dfox670 (74) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 21, 2010
12OZ bottle served in a snifter, pour was hazy ruby amber with one finger of off white head that disappeared quickly and no lacing to speak of. Nose was light malts, barley with light caramel. As for as taste there just wasn’t much going on with this brew subtle hops and a watered down bitter and unpleasant finish. Deffintly better than a main stream beer but nothing to get excited about either.
