MrManning (1429), London, Ontario, Canada Jul 2, 2008 Bottle- Deep transparent copper pours an eggshell one finger head. Nose of caramel and bread crust, spicy, floral hops and rye. Tastes of bitter hops and subtle caramel malts. Spicy notes lead to a slight fruity component. This is a very well balanced, easy drinking beer. One that I would purchase regularly if it were available to me locally.

A dark amber pour with a nice head. Smells a little fruity at first, tastes a little as well. Also tastes hoppy/malty but drinks well. Will drink again. JohnQPublic (147), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin but persistent white head. Aroma is breadcrust, a bit fruity; alt yeast comes through a bit. Taste is toasty, breadcrust malt at the front, a bit of fruit emerging just after, and then a nice dose of grassy hops on the finish. Understated lingering bitterness remains. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied, with a creamy carbonation. Decent, drinkable, and a little different. ucusty (914), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 11, 2008 dark copper pour, lots of clarity. fluffy head and thick lace. Floral notes on the nose.
