tagz (287), USA Jan 1, 2008 bottle. nutty wheat aroma and taste. high carbonation and a somewhat watery/thin body. decent flavors but the palate detracted. the double bag is much better.
ucusty (849), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 11, 2008 dark copper pour, lots of clarity. fluffy head and thick lace. Floral notes on the nose. Thin bodied the caramel and subtle hops flavors, mostly pine. MrManning (1415), London, Ontario, Canada Jul 2, 2008 Bottle- Deep transparent copper pours an eggshell one finger head. Nose of caramel and bread crust, spicy, floral hops and rye. Tastes of bitter hops and subtle caramel malts. Spicy notes lead to a slight fruity component. This is a very well balanced, easy drinking beer. One that I would purchase regularly if it were available to me locally. sleepylopes (264), New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 i like the little kings refrence but is it apt? a little mushy with a somehow sweet and stale finish. its ok. BuckeyeSammy (344), New York City, New York, USA Jun 27, 2008 On tap. Reminded me of little kings. This beer is a creamy malt blast. Amazing creamy fluff head. Wouldn’t use the word balenced to descibe any aspect.. High drinkability. mrant (220), New York, USA Jun 24, 2008 Smells strongly of sweet caramel malts. Taste is watery with a distinct lack of the sweet malts you smell. Not bad, but nothing to write home about
