Derek881 (332), Frederick, Maryland, USA Sep 2, 2008 Sampled from the bottle while in MA. The beer had a distinctly fruity, blackberry scent, with some yeast and wheaty components; some grainy hops too. A clear gold-straw color with a thinner white head with low retention and cling. The taste was very sweet and dominated by the fruity flavor and the wheat, which were a bit too strong for my liking. A wetter, slightly thin beer, with lower carbonation and a light mouthfeel. Not a bad beer, but not one of the styles I enjoy too much. rampmaster (143), Alden, New York, USA Aug 27, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: The body was a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head. Its head just covered the body and left only minimal lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma had a pleasant bouquet of sweet wild berries with some notes of grain and wheat malts.
Taste/Mouth feel: It has a slight acidity and a semi-sweet blackberry flavor up front that is held in check buy the twang of the wheat. These two flavors are balanced nicely and work very well together. Hop flavor is very mild offering only a very slight herbal flavor and almost no bitterness. The taste thins towards the finish, which is crisp and slightly dry. Its body is light with a crisp refreshing texture and an average to fizzy carbonation.
Notes: This beer has a nice solid flavor with an easy to drink body that makes for a nice hot weather refresher.

Two row with some artificial fruit smell and a little cheesy. Very light straw with some white whisps on top. Very pleasant lotus root pale malt flavour with a strong blackberry note. Light and refreshing with a touch of sourness from the wheat malt. Light body, moderate carbonation, waxy finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (1485), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 25, 2008 Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub in North Huntingdon PA this beer poured a medium golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was tangy, dry cardboard and a light vague berry note. The flavor as tart and tangy with a noticable dry cardboard element and a light vague berry note. The finish was long tangy cardboard. Blah. cheapdark (1558), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2008 Not really a lambic as specified in the description. Tart yet dull berry initial flavor, lacks zing. Not sweet nor sweettart. Could use some sweetness to bring it around. Much like many typical fruit beers. Looks like ubiquitous pale yellow beer. Cheap lager finish, not bad bud expected more. Perhaps a little too much ale bitterness in there for me.
