Light, crisp and refreshing, Blackbeary Wheat is modeled after the spontaneously fermented "Lambics" of Belgium. Real blackberries added to the fermentation contribute a subtle fruitiness to this Summer Quencher! Available May through August.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow with a malty aroma - not a lot of fruit. Taste has a bit of berry taste with a bit of malt. Pretty bland taste.

12 oz bottle purchased in a mix six pack at Monaghan’s. Ok this wasn’t the worst beer I have ever had but by no means do I ever want to have it again. Smells like a combination of artificial unspecific fruit syrup combined with a pale lager, Bud Dry Light Ice perhaps?? Flavor of fruit syrup, raspberry most likely, and a tall boy can beer, Olympia perhaps?? I actually took two extra sips to give it a fair chance and am a little disappointed I gave it that much of a chance.

On tap, a light golden brew with an artificial blackberry nose. I would liken this beer very much to blackberry seltzer. I’m not surprised it clocks in under 4%, because I really wasn’t sure this should be considered beer. Oh well, it went down easy at least. The blackberry flavoring was enjoyable despite this brew’s many faults.

Nothing special. Too sour, overpowering citrus. Poured a nice color but revealed too much carbonation and acidity, Dissapointment for longtrail product.

Nice, foamy head; pale color; fresh, tart aroma. The flavor is too wimpy, tho. Was that the purpose of the cartoon bear on the label? Is this a children’s beer? A little sour with an odd, fruity taste and hops in the finish. Taste’s like an imitation of Leiny’s Sunset Wheat.

Blackberry aroma. Sudsy white head. Golden color. Crisp start with a sweet blackberry after taste. Great on a hot summer day.

Bottle with a stamped date of 07 02 07. Pours a rich golden yellow with a lot of carbonation. Smells of grass and berries. The berry taste is more prominent. Very sweet. Not terribly bad if you like it that way.
