This brew combines 2-Row Pilsen malt, a hint of Crystal malt, and of course, plenty of malted wheat. A hint of blackberry at the finish makes this beer a real thirst quencher! For the health conscious, Blackbeary Wheat has less than 6 grams of carbs and under 125 calories per bottle!

Bottle: Drank from the bottle so I didn’t have much appearance to judge. The aroma is sweet berry. Taste has just a hint of the berry, and a decent wheat beer. This beer saved me from a night of Bud Lite.

Bottle. Color is golden with very little head at all. Aroma is sweet. Taste has a hint of blueberry with malts and a dry finish (where’s the wheat?). Not terrible, but not something I need to buy again.

Poured a bright golden color with a small white head and light lacin gon the glass. Tart and almost funky barnyard and blackberry aroma. Bland lemon and blackberry taste, very light on malts. Seemed spritzy.

Swet, simple blackberry aroma is appealing. Pale golden body with thin white head that diminishes to thin cover. Good carbonation. Mild blackberry fruit flavour in a pretty middle of the road american wheat beer. Mouthfeel is rather watery and that detracts from overall enjoyment more and more with each sip. I don’t really see how this is modelled after a Lambic. Bottle.

Pours pale gold with medium, creamy white head. Aroma of blackberries, some malt and hops. Tastes malty, with slight corniness, and slight blackberry flavor in the finish.

Aroma carries a waft of perfume along with slight blackberry presence. Spare quickly disipating head portends the thinness in the body of this beer. Somewhat watery, the blackberry flavor is faint, rising slightly in the acidic finish.

Pours a slightly pale, urine yellow. After 10 minutes the head is literally completely gone, without so much as a trace of fizz on top. Aroma has some perfumey berriness to it that I presume to be blackberries. Flavor has the same berriness to it, not far from that Crystal Light stuff that chicks drink. Hops? What hops? Very watery; flavor hardly lingers at all. "'Lambics' of Belgium" my ass. Quite pathetic. Don't waste your time and money. The worst of Long Trail.

Much like a flavored seltzer but with alcohol. Something of a bad aftertaste. Color is a mild tan, not overly appealing.

Pours a tranparent blonde a la B/M/C. Small white head thats quickly dissipating. Aroma is sweet--as of blackberry I presume. Start has some blackberry hit, middle is sour and non-exhilarating. Im not sure which lambics this is modeled after, but it is a decent balance for a fruit beer. I understand I am sampling it out of season.
