COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew combines 2-Row Pilsen malt, a hint of Crystal malt, and of course, plenty of malted wheat. A hint of blackberry at the finish makes this beer a real thirst quencher! For the health conscious, Blackbeary Wheat has less than 6 grams of carbs and under 125 calories per bottle!

nice fruity aroma, tastes of malted wheat with a blackberry finish, a clear light-gold appearance with minimal frothy head, it is easy on the palate with a slightly rough finish, easy and comfortable to drink

Really mild. Pours clear and light. Mild wheat and malt taste with a small amount of blackberry. The berry was very pleasant, not overpowering or medicinal. Save it for a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Thin small bubble lacing, light body, light/medium carbonation, and light blackberry aroma. Taste is pilsner malt and a hint of blackberry. Boring.

Where is the wheat? Iím not a huge fan of this one. It feels like Iíve been tricked into buying a specialty brew and actually ended up with a light beer. Not much to say. Meh.

Very pale, with very little head. Light body, very little blackberry aroma or taste. Drinks like bud light with a blackberry sitting in it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow body with a very minimal fizzy white head that quickly dissipates. The nose is very light, some artificial smelling berry fruitiness and some light wheat. The flavor is just as light, not much going on here save for a candy like fruit note on the finish. I think I taste the carbonation more than the malt in this. Fizzy and light bodied with a very short finish. This one is pretty forgettable.

I wasenít expecting a lambic type, but i couldnít taste any blackberries. but the hop were very present, this is also very refreshing.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a lot of carbonation, limited head and lacing. This looks like a budweiser, honestly. Aroma is fairly inviting with the blackberries coming though; however, this almost smells more like a wine. Taste is pretty artificial but there is an overpowering blackberry sweetness. Way too sweet for me.

Bottle into a goblet. Aroma is that of blackberry. Pour is a light gold with a white head. Taste is blackberry and light malt. Finish is berry and malt, a very light beer.

Came as part of a variety pack. Fruit and metal in the aroma. Flavor is weak and watery, with a little bit of berry, a little bit of bitterness, and a metallic aftertaste. Long Trail puts out some good beer, but this ainít one of them.
