Commercial Description:
Light, crisp and refreshing, Blackbeary Wheat is modeled after the spontaneously fermented "Lambics" of Belgium. Real blackberries added to the fermentation contribute a subtle fruitiness to this Summer Quencher! Available May through August.

Nice berry aromas and pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Smooth sweet taste of berries with subtle wheat lurking in the background. Knocked it a few points for it’s lack of overall alcohol content and being more berry flavour than wheat. Still a very nice beer though.

Bottle. Mellow wheat and somewhat musty blackberry juice. Rather odd. Not the worst thing that’s ever crossed paths with my tongue though.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow with a thickish white head. Aroma of cranberry and raspberry/general berry fruit juice. Flavor is pretty much the same sweet juice-like notes along with a hint of wheat. Meh, too artificially sugary. If this is supposed to be modeled after a lambic...well, it misses the mark quite a bit. If you’re looking for a juice-beer, then this is perfect for you. Otherwise, I’d skip it. It’s certainly drinkable but it’s not anything special.

Pours medium dark yellow with a white head. Smells of bubblegum, with a little fruit. The flavor is pretty watery and tastes of a little blackberry and wheat. Pretty bland all around and has an unpleant aftertaste. I cant believe how low the ABV is here. Dissapointing.

Bottle- Slightly hazy yellow pour topped with a fizzy white cap. The nose is grainy and has some pale malts as well as a slight fruity component, which can be attributed to the blackberries, but it is pretty weak. Sweet grainy straw flavour with sugars and pale malts, with only a touch of fruit and slight bitterness. Fizzy, watery, grainy. Below average.
