Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with some sediment and a thick, fluffy white head that leaves pretty lacing on the glass. Aroma of resiny hops at first then tons of tropical fruits and citrus. Wow, this smells really good! Flavor of lots of citrus, some melon, and a nice hoppy finish. This is a super tasty IPA. Reminds me of the Flossmoor Station IPAs in terms of flavor/aroma profile. At $3.50 a bomber, this is a steal! 9/4/8/4/16 (4.1/5)

Bottle from Craft fresh today. Pours hazy gold with huge 3-finger fluffy white head and copious lacing. Nose is wet hoppy, with pineapple, tangerine, some pale malt. Very citruc nose. Tastes wet hoppy, resiny, with a ton of tangerine, orange, pineapple, and mango flavors, in roughly that order. Smooth, very complex palate with finishing peppery notes to match the colossal hops and tropical fruit. Marvelous! Long Trail has become a brewer that I now seek out with these big brewmaster series beers. As a caveat, I don’t seek the regular stuff, just the brewmasters classic series! Get ya some, and do it now, punks!

Good sized bright white head of very fine bubbles. Hazy golden orange in color. Big succulent hops aroma. Lots of citrus, oranges, pineapple and flowers. Moderate hops bitterness in the flavor. Very succulent and makes the mouth water. Light dryness with more pineapple and citrus. Very easy drinking, hides its alcohol very well and leaves a clean feel in the mouth. Just a bit of light heat late swallow. Light malts to help balance the bit hop profile. Finishes bitter and dry with a lingering bit of fruityness. Overall a very good IIPA and one that I would highly recommend. Just be careful as this one may sneak up on you.

22oz. Bottle: Pungent aroma of hops, grapefruit, pineapple, tropical fruit, tangerine, pine, light grass, and a slight hint of pale malts. Poured gold/amber/yellow in color with a medium-sized, creamy, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Lightly sweet, medium bitter flavor. Tastes of hops, caramel, citrus, pale malts, light grapefruit, light tropical fruit, grass, and pine. The flavor is not quite as fruity as the aroma, but is still nice. Medium body. Chalky texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, grapefruit, and caramel finish is lightly dry.

On tap at Capones. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, toasty, and some pine. Tastes of citrus, the same floralness, pine, and some caramel. Lacing left on the glass.

[Draft @ Capones] Poured a clear, honey colored body with a small, white head that left light, sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, citrus, honey, and a bit of toasted malt. Taste of citrus fruits, pine, resiny tobacco, grapefruit, and a dry, lightly alcoholic finish.

Bottle. Huge hops and citrus (grapefruit) aroma. Body is hazy yellow-orange, with a thick foamy off-white head that laces beautifully. Flavor is lusciously fresh-cut grapefruit, bitter with slightly sweet hoppiness. Wonderful lengthy finish that ends with a little kiss of sweetness. Magnificent IIPA. One of the very best.

Bottle. Pale amber gold beer with a thin white head. The aroma is lovely. Rich bright tropical citrus aroma. Light sweet honeyish aroma. A bit of light tropical mango and pineapple. It is very bright and fresh smelling. Flavour is soft and fruity. Fairly creamy texture with a rich fruity hoppiness. Moderate bitterness. Lovely and hoppy with a light moderate bitterness. Lovely beer.

Bomber bottle from Brattleboro Food Co-Op. Nice amber body. Big head. Nose of fruits, grapefruit and hops. Taste of malts, caramel, as well as hoppy and citrus notes. Warms at the end. Enjoyable. (About $6...)

Pours deep bright amber into a snifter. Bright white head recedes leaving spider lacing. Grapefruit and resin aromas. Dark caramel and crisp sour resins upfront. Lasting, astringent orange peel and alcohol burn.
