Typical Vermont Beer...Great Hoppy taste. Smooth after taste. Smoother and more distinguishable than the Heady Topper, and a step up from the Double IPA from Rock Art (not their finest work). If you do not like the smell or taste of strong hops, stay away and do not write a poor review for a beer that you do not understand.

One of my current favorites and a steal at $5.99. Bottle pours effortlessly with a nice white head. Its bitterness is so understated that its really smooth and a hoppy IPA with no apparent issues. A great DIPA and one of the better ones out there today...

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle, I notice the amber color and low head. Aromas of lemon and hops. Creamy palate with tastes of vanilla and a hint of clove. Not overpowering and not bitter. This is a high quality beer, worth another go-around.

Bottle. Huge hops and citrus (grapefruit) aroma. Body is hazy yellow-orange, with a thick foamy off-white head that laces beautifully. Flavor is lusciously fresh-cut grapefruit, bitter with slightly sweet hoppiness. Wonderful lengthy finish that ends with a little kiss of sweetness. Magnificent IIPA. One of the very best.

Bottle from Craft fresh today. Pours hazy gold with huge 3-finger fluffy white head and copious lacing. Nose is wet hoppy, with pineapple, tangerine, some pale malt. Very citruc nose. Tastes wet hoppy, resiny, with a ton of tangerine, orange, pineapple, and mango flavors, in roughly that order. Smooth, very complex palate with finishing peppery notes to match the colossal hops and tropical fruit. Marvelous! Long Trail has become a brewer that I now seek out with these big brewmaster series beers. As a caveat, I donít seek the regular stuff, just the brewmasters classic series! Get ya some, and do it now, punks!

Bomber. Yeah. This is THE IPA. Slight aroma, cloudy copper appearance. The flavor is strong and hoppy but smooth and balanced... not harsh and metallic like some IPA s. The taste lasts pleasantly on the palate. Overall at a 3.50 price this is a steady on my list. A must try for the lucky few in the Northeast that can get it.

Awesome bottle and recommendation from Zathrus13. Thanks jEff. pours a couldy orange dirt amber. kind of odd. Some nice lace. Nice big floral hop aroma. Extremely smooth and accessible to the non beer drinker. Seemed really fresh. I would recommend this to anyone.

Bottle. Burnt orange with a nice white head. Great hoppy aroma balanced with a little malt and citrus too. Great mouthfeel, smooth silky body, great hoppy bitterness but not overdone. Very subtle malt character underlying. I really love this one itís unlike most double ipaís Iíve had in that itís well balanced and not too heavy. Very well done...

Bomber: Pours a light hazy orange with a thick persistent rocky white head, aroma is full of oranges and lemons, starts and ends bitter with a long caramel aftertaste, full bodied with a chewy mouthfeel and playful carbonation. For the price ($2.84) it is the best beer in the world.

At last - a great local DIPA!! Pours a nice bright orange and a soft pillow white head. Sweet piney/citrus notes and a nice balance flavor on the palate. Itís wonderful when brewers are able to balance the malt and hops in this style. Beautifully done. And Iím not a natural fan of the style!
