Bottle. Pours a hazed gold with apricot tones, under a medium small white head. Bright sweet candied citrus on the nose, soft wheat and orange zest. Medium bodied, sweet and honeyed, caramel and melon before picking up some lemon. Caramel and candied citrus, more wheat. More wheat and lemon, followed by a nice musky bit of Belgian yeast. 22 oz bottle, pours a hazy, deep golden color with moderate head. Aroma is citrusy with heavy orange and spices, but not flat like other summer beers. Aroma stong when fist served as well as after drinking it a while. Taste is well balanced between sweet and spicy. Medium body, active on the palate, crisp sweet spicy orange aftertaste. Very enjoyable beer, refreshing on a warm day.

(bottle) Complexion is a hazy golden-yellow with thin white head. The flavor is right for the style, not overpowering. Flavors of orange, citrus and mild spice with a clean finish and good palate. The 8% ABV is extremely well hidden. A very impressive brew for the style. The Long Trail Brewmaster Series is underappreciated and high-level craft quality.
