Location: 22 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 9/10/12

Aroma: It has a good amount of spice (cinnamon, clove, etc), pumpkin, and some sweet malts
Appearance: This one pours a dark orange color with a beige head and some light lacing
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, not as sweet as the nose, with a medium-plus spice presence
Palate: The body is medium, it has a lively carbonation, and a lasting, lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This one was a solid Pumpkin beer, but not a stand-out in this style. Still though, it is something that I enjoyed drinking, so I give them a

Bottle. Dark orange-amber pour with a medium, frothy tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin. Hints of brown sugar as well. Taste is cinnamon and nutmeg up front with strong pumpkin pie notes, brown sugar, clove, other spices and burnt pie crust. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Finishes with more strong spice up front (mainly cinnamon and clove), pumpkin pie, candied pumpkin and brown sugar.

22oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours brown with a cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel and bread-like malts, and some floral hops. Flavor the same, with some alcohol on the finish. Average texture. A good pumpkin beer.

Pumpkin flavor was just not as strong as it could be. Big 22oz bottle. Nice aroma but overall flavor falls a little short.

22 oz. Bottle. Ok, but not that impressive due to the overwhelming boozy flavor. Excellent scent of banana, spice, clove, pumpkin, nutmeg, and alcohol. Bronze pour with a head quick to ring. Light/med body, silky, slight sticky finish. Big alcohol flavor over banan and pumpkin, nutmeg.

bottle, orange copper pour, decent nose and flavor of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg & allspice. spice was lighter than anticipated, evident but not overbearing, decent pumpkin

This is not a pumpkin pie type of beer thank goodness. It’s only September first. Nice malt aroma from an amber pour with a very thin head. A bit of the pumpkin comes through in the taste and the spices come out in the after taste. Not bad.

Pours a deep amber with a medium lt tan head. Aroma is very spice forward...somewhat muddled. Flavor follows suit...excessive bitterness for my taste in the style. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is bitter and spicy...dry lingering spice. Just another spicy mess with no depth or pumpkin flavor at all.

Bottle with Pedro. Pours a clean dark amber with fluffy beige head and lacing. Aroma is pumpkin spice - cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and some pumpkin. Taste is pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, with a sweet banana finish and a little bitterness.

22 oz bomber from Spirits Crossroads and my 1st pumpkin beer of the season for 2012. Poured a rusty orange body under an average to larger sized slightly foamy beige head. Aroma has a chocolate background with notes of pumpkin spices, toast and some pumpkin husk. Body is full and dry with lots of mid-flavor spices and finishes full and spicey. Flavor of toast, chocolate, pumpkin pie spice, dry pumpkin rind and grain. It’s okay and the ABV is well hidden but I’d rather have the king and yes I mean Pumking.
