Bottle. Hazy dark brown color, huge beige head. Aroma of gourd > spice. Taste is cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet brown raisin bread. Not bad.

The aroma is pumpkin pie spices, brown sugar, light booze, pumpkin. The appearance is relatively clear deep amber, off-white head. The flavor is like the aroma, pie spices, caramel, pumpkin. Boozy. The finish is light booze, pine, spices. Medium/thick in body, creamy mouthfeel. The booze comes through too much, especially considering it’s only 8%. Still, pretty enjoyable overall.

Pours deep amber into a snifter. Sweet hot pumpkin pie aromas. Thick with sweet nutmeg and ginger upfront turning to pumpkin and cinnamon in the lasting finish.

22oz bottle from The Perfect Pour. Happy Long Trail distributed this far south. Pours dark amber with white head. Malt aroma with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Caramel malt flavor with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove flavors. Then some peppery notes in the finish with hops and some bitterness.

22 oz bottle. Pours orange/amber with a one finger off white head that settles down to a thin ring. Aroma is light spices, mostly nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor is semi sweet. A little light pumpkin flavor with the aforementioned spices. It is a bit boozy at 8%. Medium bodied with a nice smooth mouthfeel. Nice job.

Medium bodied dark amber Pumpkin Ale with plenty o’ pumpkin aroma and body. Spices are part of the make-up, however, not overbearing. When I read it was an English Strong Ale style it all made sense. Bitterness is evident but not the center of attention. Well done offering from Long Trail. I have been impressed with the Brewmaster Series and at only $5 a bomber a welcome bargain.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 9/10/12

Aroma: It has a good amount of spice (cinnamon, clove, etc), pumpkin, and some sweet malts
Appearance: This one pours a dark orange color with a beige head and some light lacing
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, not as sweet as the nose, with a medium-plus spice presence
Palate: The body is medium, it has a lively carbonation, and a lasting, lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This one was a solid Pumpkin beer, but not a stand-out in this style. Still though, it is something that I enjoyed drinking, so I give them a

Bottle. Dark orange-amber pour with a medium, frothy tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin. Hints of brown sugar as well. Taste is cinnamon and nutmeg up front with strong pumpkin pie notes, brown sugar, clove, other spices and burnt pie crust. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Finishes with more strong spice up front (mainly cinnamon and clove), pumpkin pie, candied pumpkin and brown sugar.

22oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours brown with a cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel and bread-like malts, and some floral hops. Flavor the same, with some alcohol on the finish. Average texture. A good pumpkin beer.

Pumpkin flavor was just not as strong as it could be. Big 22oz bottle. Nice aroma but overall flavor falls a little short.
