22 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured kind of hazy dark reddish amber in color; decent off white head and nice lacing on the cup. Aroma of spices malts and booze with hints of pumpkin. Taste is malty sweet combined with some spices and pumpkin, you also feel the alcohol but it is actually smooth and drinkable. Nice Enjoyable beer.

From a bottle. Pours hazy medium reddish brown with a thin fizzy head. Tastes like pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg, slightly sour. Not too spiced and not very sweet. Low/medium body and carbonation. Smells like squash vegetables, spices, and alcohol.

Bottle. Pours hazy, dark amber with creamy, off-white head. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, cereal malts, floral notes, figs, and dates. Flavor starts sweet and malty but surprisingly has some strong hop bitterness on the back end; dry finish with some light spices. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft offering..not really ready for the pumpkin onslaught but its here anyways..about as dark orange color as one can expect..not much carbonation or head..aroma is dominated by weak graham cracker and some bland spices..mouthfeel was not memorable..tad watery and didn’t really have that good pumpkin beer kick in the teeth..to tell you the truth this reminded me of a cross between dfh punkin and st pumking with unfortunately much more characteristics of the dfh than the southern tier..has some zing at the abv but beyond that not worth IMO...

4oz sample at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a hazy mahogany brown with some very white head. Smells like a candle, brown sugar, candied yams, burnt marshmellow. Flavor is like eating candied yams on Thanksgiving, burnt marshmellow, clove, super sweet, nutmeg, vanilla. Very sugary finish. A little too much.

Bottle from Weis Market Lewisburg. Pours burnt umber with a couple of inches of foam. Leaves a little lacing in the glass. Pretty big pumpkin on the nose. Kind of sweet on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid but feels a little early to be drinking a pumpkin beer.

Pretty decent pumpkin seasonal. 22oz bottle from the Collegeville Wegman’s. The beer pours a dark ruby orange color. Even though the beer doesn’t offer much of a head, it does leave some nice, cascading lacing around the inside of the glass. The nose features some pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, light yeast and cloves. Most of those qualities show in the body of flavors, as well. I also taste a little ginger, very light rye bread and toasted malt. This offering is a tad light on pumpkin flavor, but for $6 a bomber, it is worth a taste.

Reddish brown maple syrup color with a bit of oof-white head. Aroma and taste are tuned down imperial pumpkin, but still pretty textbook. $5.5/22

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. This has been renamed the "Brush & Barrel Series" rather than the "Brewmaster Series." The pour is medium amber with an orange glow and even a slight reddish hue up to the light. The head is bountiful. The aroma has a great pumpkin note along with sweet malts, a little wheat, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Hops are played down. The body is bold. Here come the hops! The taste begins with a sweet and pumpkin flavor but then the hops pull out of the background and leave a moderate lingering bitterness.
