22oz. bottle: This one pours a clear, orangish-amber color. There was almost no head on it, and no lacing. The aroma is decent, and expected. Pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg are the dominant ones. Not overdone, but they mask anything else. The taste is pretty good. Nicely balanced between the hops and malts. A touch of pumpkin, the pumpkin pie spices, and a hint of bitterness. A nice fall beer!

Bottle:   Deep dark dirty caramel, frothy beige head, nice lacing.   Strong nutmeg and cimmamon on the nose.   Spicy up front, very bready.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Cloves seem to creep up on the backside, they linger long.   Not as big as I expected, but a bit more UMPH than your standard Pumpkin Ale.

22oz bottle. Hazy amber pour with a small sized off white head. Pumpkin and spices...all around on the subtle side. Some vanilla and caramel in the taste.

Draft at Eulogy. Clear red brown with a foamy white head. Aroma is of sweet pumpkin, but first taste brought some unexpected bitterness. Pumpkin spice. Additional red fruits from the malt but quite a lot of bitter finish from the hops. Dark syrupy notes. Gentle dark sugar pumpkin with a big hop punch. Mixed feelings. Well blended, but not really to my taste.

(Bottle). The aroma is abundantly spiced with note of alcohol. The flavor is overwhelmed by the spices instead of pumpkin. The alcohol is warming and nice for a cool fall day. The Long Trail Brewmaster series has been very impressive but this one falls a little short. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Alcohol and bitterness was overpowering at the start. Once the beer warms a little it smoothed out. Typical pumpkin were taste.
