3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared with Sr. Jackson in Canaan, NH. Pours bright copper-red with a fine, white cream head. Sugars and autumn spices in the aroma, definite sweet pumpkin notes. Big sweet flavor with pleasant pumpkin, nutmeg, wintery spices now, a bit of alcohol. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly warming, with cinnamon and nutmeg, mild dryness. Nicely spiced overall. I like sweet pumpkin beers, generally, and I think this one is good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2013-01-13. Hazy dark orange with a nice beige head. 3+ Aroma is spicy, fruity, and lightly tangy. Flavour is similar, moderate spices up front, fruity pumpkin, very light alcohol, modest bitterness. Smooth average pls to medium bodied palate. 3++ Pretty decent, I’d personally like the malt to be a touch more robust to support the pumpkin and spice more, but it is nice as is.
