so i am not sure if the brush and barrel series is same as brewmaster but here i go. 22oz bomber enjoyed in a standard pint glass. A darker colored brownish orange with a nice one finger small bubble head. Aroma is a best hits or pumpkin beer with clove and all spice but not ever the top. The taste is a full body malt with light touches of bitter and brown sugar. For me the greatness comes in the full satisfying body that more pumpkin beers should have. Pumpkin beer to be enjoyed on a cold VT evening. 8abv not noticeable. a good all around example.

22 oz. Bottle. Ok, but not that impressive due to the overwhelming boozy flavor. Excellent scent of banana, spice, clove, pumpkin, nutmeg, and alcohol. Bronze pour with a head quick to ring. Light/med body, silky, slight sticky finish. Big alcohol flavor over banan and pumpkin, nutmeg.

Pours a clear orange-red with a nice tan head. Smells of pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, ginger, bread. Taste is sweet, lightly bitter, strong pumpkin, spices, malty - caramel and bread.

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Pours a surprising clear ruby hue with a tan/orange coloured head. Aroma is spice up front, and a surprising amount of banana. I mean a LOT of banana. As for taste, sweet with heavy notes of Lyle’s Golden Syrup up front, dried fruit, caramel, light cinnamon, light bitterness, and lots of malt notes. If tasting blindly, I might guess something in the bock family. The pumpkin beer notes are awfully light. It is however a good beer, even if it doesn’t resemble something from the pumpkin beer family. Well done.

This imperial pumpkin is a middle of the road as far as taste. Finishes a lil sour and doesnt taste very much like pumkin ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft offering..not really ready for the pumpkin onslaught but its here anyways..about as dark orange color as one can expect..not much carbonation or head..aroma is dominated by weak graham cracker and some bland spices..mouthfeel was not memorable..tad watery and didn’t really have that good pumpkin beer kick in the teeth..to tell you the truth this reminded me of a cross between dfh punkin and st pumking with unfortunately much more characteristics of the dfh than the southern tier..has some zing at the abv but beyond that not worth IMO...

Bottle pours dark red has ok head. Tastes smells heavy spice cinnamon nutmeg caramel bitter. Not really a fan more a spice beer I can see where it’s a pumpkin beer but more like a candle smell and taste what you’d expect pass. Stick with the best pumking

Very rich, malty, sweet. It’s basically a pumpkin doublebock IMO. Moderate pumpkin flavor with the usual spices, plus some caramel, a little butterscotch, and plenty of alcohol. Warming, which makes me wish it wasn’t 86 degree today in early October in Connecticut (damn global warming!). Anyway, it’s pretty good, one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had actually. Not gimmicky, just a nice strong beer with some pumpkin.

Poured from bomber. Dark copper color with good streaking from an initially thin head. Roasted malt and pie spice aromas with a bubblegum note from the yeast, perhaps. Full, rich flavors. Medium sweetness with all the spices.
