Typical pumpkin beer everything, smell, taste, aroma. The thing that brings it down, is the after taste. Bitter for no reason. Why?

Great beer. Had it at a blind tasting and I actually did not feel the pumpkin. Wonderful.

750 ml about 2 months old. Pours red. A nice creamy head. Smell isn't overpowering, but nice spice notes - cinnamon, gingerbread, and what seems to be pretty fresh pumpkin (not sure if it's canned). Taste starts with sweetness from the pumpkin, and then the spices surface and all linger together. Clean finish, minimal to no bitterness. One of the better balanced pumpkin beers I've had.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very sweet/spicy aroma with some malt and caramel. Orange/amber appearance with hazy liquid and a minimal tan head. A sweet taste with some maltiness with nutmeg and other seasonal spices. Medium body.
Overall, I’ve been looking for a good pumpkin/season beer for a while, so I’m picking up the local beers. This one tastes more like a normal malty ale with a sprinkle of nutmeg and other spices. Without the spices, it would taste like a normal ale and I was looking for something a bit more pumpkiny.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep copper with a subtle off-white gently head. Head fades to a minor ring with light lacing.
Sweet pumpkin notes lead the nose with hints of nutmeg. Drinks with a moderate bitterness that is almost balanced with the spiced pumpkin. Medium-body with high carbonation.
Not overly sweet like other pumpkin ales but not on the level of Pumking or Punkin.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz. bottle picked up at Astoria Bier & Cheese in Queens. Limited run "Brush and Barrel" bottle that features a piece of local Vermont art on it. Very nice packaging. I believe that this is the same as the standard Imperial Pumpkin, however (someone please PM me if I am incorrect).
Opaque, orangey-brown hue reminiscent of a dried apricot. Attractive, roughly 1 cm orangey head that mostly dissipated after a few seconds. Aroma was the most underwhelming part of the beer - generally inoffensive but nothing special, faint fruit aroma and less spice than I was expecting. Very nice sweet, caramel and spice flavor that tastes lower in ABV than the advertised 8%.

poured from 22oz bottle into standard pint glass. dark amber with moderate off white head that fades quickly. the never ending stream of swiftly rising bubbles indicate a lively carbonation. smells of nutmeg, cinnamon, and faint pumpkin. tastes sweet, slightly cloying, you can catch the pumpkin and spice, nice kind of dry mouthfeel that leaves you thirsty for more. very decent pumpkin ale that does not overdo the spice
