Reddish brown maple syrup color with a bit of oof-white head. Aroma and taste are tuned down imperial pumpkin, but still pretty textbook. $5.5/22

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear reddish copper with an off white head. Caramel malt nose. Spicy pumpkin pie notes, but not over the top. Tasty.

so i am not sure if the brush and barrel series is same as brewmaster but here i go. 22oz bomber enjoyed in a standard pint glass. A darker colored brownish orange with a nice one finger small bubble head. Aroma is a best hits or pumpkin beer with clove and all spice but not ever the top. The taste is a full body malt with light touches of bitter and brown sugar. For me the greatness comes in the full satisfying body that more pumpkin beers should have. Pumpkin beer to be enjoyed on a cold VT evening. 8abv not noticeable. a good all around example.

Very rich, malty, sweet. Itís basically a pumpkin doublebock IMO. Moderate pumpkin flavor with the usual spices, plus some caramel, a little butterscotch, and plenty of alcohol. Warming, which makes me wish it wasnít 86 degree today in early October in Connecticut (damn global warming!). Anyway, itís pretty good, one of the better pumpkin beers Iíve had actually. Not gimmicky, just a nice strong beer with some pumpkin.

Bottle at home. Pours clear amber with a large, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, cloves, earthy hops and biscuit malt. Flavor is malt forward with moderate spices, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at Snallygaster 2013. Poured a deep amber with a beige head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, caramel, vanilla, and pumpkin dominated the aroma. Went down medium to full-bodied and smooth. The taste featured lots of caramel, vanilla, and creamy pumpkin pie loaded with all the usual spices. There was an overwhelming boozy quality in both taste and warmth from start to finish. Things got a bit too cloying by the end.

22 oz. bottle. Label reads "Brush and Barrel Series." Pours a lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of caramel, malt, pumpkin, with the requisite pumpkin pie spices. The flavor is more spice than pumpkin but not totally out of balance. Some caramel and malt present as well. Mild bitterness at the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium bodied.

22 ounce bottle. Thanks Dave! Pours a cloudy reddish gold with a small tan head. Aroma of spice, malt, and pumpkin. Taste is similar. A well balanced pumpkin beer.

(bottle - 22 oz) Copper pour with a thin white head. Light pumpkin and a good amount of cinnamon and nutmeg in the aroma. Flavor is spices at the start but a nice pumpkin middle and a slightly bitter pumpkin pie and cinnamon aftertaste.

Bomber. My bottle is very different from the one pictured. This is kind of red hued and has a nice beige head. A pumpkin aroma. A powdery feel. Flavor is pumpkin and big malts. Plenty of spices including nutmeg and cinnamon. Some earth. No hops detected. Something kind of harsh remained throughout and was a negative. It reminded me of burnt brown sugar.
