3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
22oz traded bottle. Honestly looks like still, orange TANG when this pour settles out. Started out with a nice white head but nothing now. Not sure if my brain is playing tricks on me but the aroma also seems to be big in the orange department. Also a little sugar and spice in there too. Flavor is nice but once again, maybe a little too much citrus; almost a lemon-lime thing going on.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber from a trip to NY in the summer. Glorious wit nose, sweet and spicy with loads of lemon essence. Clear golden-orange body ringing through with a beautiful lacing rocky white head. Taste is juicy and rounded, not one-dimensional as most wits are, with nicely integrated and relaxed alcohol. Aftertaste is short and hints at lemon cleaning fluid, but long-term resolution brings about notes of residual fresh-baked bread. Medium-full body, very flavorful, soft and oily with an occasional angular tang. Truly synergistic while displaying deft, almost casual balance. Time may have helped to mellow this beast, which may be drinking at its peak right now - nothing about this is overbearing, not the coriander or orange and lemon base. Iím not rating according to style, but itís hard not to remark how textbook this is, among the best Iíve ever had, and proof that this style can be íimperializedí without losing its soul.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Craft. Sage, coriander, wheat, orange peel and spice. Body was a tad thin for me( A common trait I find with this company)However, the brew is a decent representation of the style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[on tap in Burlington, VT]
Sweet brown sugar aroma with some spicy melanoidins and weak, citrus accents. Hazy orangish brown under a white, patch and ring. Sweet and sour flavour with lotus root malt and a vegetal bitterness that is balanced by the sweetness. Some spices make this a flavourful beer, but the finish is soda watery and the bitterness is a bit quinine-like. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy, almost pulpy light orange-brown body, medium to thick puffy off-white head. Nose of banana, coriander, orange peel, and wheat, grassy and clean, with a hint of diacetyl. Body with potent coriander and orange peel, spicy and fairly dry, creamy. Very good wit.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22oz bottle. Pours a deeper orange/white hue, decent depth. Aromas are sweet and malty, some bready, citrus is fairly obvious. Palate is way too cloying, sweetness through the mid dulls any kind of citrus acidity that this would have given off. Itís a bit one sided the abv is prevelent, some oxidation settling in.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle:   Straw in color, pale golden hue, thin white frothy head, dies quickly, sparce lacing.   Spicy nose, corriander, orange zest, and a lot of dried fruit, the dehydrated kind.   There is some sweet prune too!   Very flavorful on the tongue.   Loads of dehydrated fruit, mainly prune and apricot.   Very interesting and different for a strong Witbier.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   This one is more fruity than being a witbier, but thatís okay.   A very interesting take on the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a cloudy, murky orange with a dense head of white foam. The nose has some spicy clove, wheat, and lemon notes. The flavor has some lemon and a slight tartness that works well. Some yeast and spice, but not overpowering. Medium bodied but a little flabby on the tongue with sparse carbonation and a clean finish. Just a little warming on the back end from the alcohol. Pretty well done.
