[on tap in Burlington, VT]
Sweet brown sugar aroma with some spicy melanoidins and weak, citrus accents. Hazy orangish brown under a white, patch and ring. Sweet and sour flavour with lotus root malt and a vegetal bitterness that is balanced by the sweetness. Some spices make this a flavourful beer, but the finish is soda watery and the bitterness is a bit quinine-like. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From the 22 ouncer, 2009-2010 series marked 102009-1207. The pour is a handsome golden color with less than a finger of puffy of-white head. It is slightly hazy. The aroma is a crisp, clean wheat scent with some orange peel highlights and subtle hops. The mouthfeel is in the medium range with a honey-like consistency. The taste radiates with orange-citrus, subtle malts, and subtle hops intertwined in an elegant balance. I think I even note a little honey in there. It’s drinkability is high. I highly enjoyed this one and I want to try and grab another couple of them before it is retired for the season.

Huge orange aroma with subtle spicing. Smells a bit like a Christmas clove orange. Flavor is medium sweet with more orange and baking spices. Superb.

Sweet light malt, lemon, and flower aroma. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Sweet sweet coriander. This beer has the most coriander I have ever had. Sweet beginning with a light citrus bitter finish. Sticky palate.

Tap GLB. Aroma is sweet with banana and cotton candy. Taste is similar. Nice body and smooth but has the gummy taste. Some citrus and light bread make it better.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange with a big white head. Aroma is bubblegum, and roses with a bit of citrus and corriander. Taste is the same, and relatively dry with solid carbonation, and clean finish. This is possibly my favorite example in a style that I generally don’t care for. $3/22oz

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
22 ounce bottle from Julio’s in Hoegaarden tumbler. Cloudy pale orange with white ring. Clove coriander and orange tang aroma. Orangey wheat and way way WAY overspiced with coriander. Finish is all orange popsicle and CORIANDER. I am breathing coriander. Thick cloying. Strong white beer is almost always bad, and I love a good Belgian white. This is borderline drainpour. I won’t drink the other half of the bottle. Sorry to the brewers. I like some of your other beers. Blech.
