Pours a brilliant dark amber. Aroma of malts and a bit of alcohol. Taste is not as good as expected. Malt and a bit of caramel--hop flavor is weak. Alcohol is not hidden well. I expected more here. If they made the hops shine a bit more and could hide a bit of alcohol they would have a good beer.

Thanks to thirdeye11? for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow-orange color with a white head. The aroma is fairly bland, with some biscuit malt and not much else. The flavor is also lacking, with some bread, grain and a hint of grass. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not much going on here.

Poured into my ccb pint glass. Pours a clear amber color with no head. Aroma of caramel, malts, sweetness. Taste follows the nose, slight amount of hops present. Sweet beer, easy to drink, hides alcohol well. Not bad at all just not a lot of complexity.

Faintish thin smell of malt and molasses. Very nice appearance, though little head or action. Taste is rather simple -- first thought is that someone tried to toss some hops into a brown ale batch -- not loving it. The palate is quite bitter, almost soapy. This one was not that enjoyable, almost a drain pour.

strong ale with a full, rich, malty body. Taste is medium/heavy bitter but not really sour. Kind of salty and a long finish. I really enjoyed with some meat, gouda chesse and pinenuts

Tap. Pours mostly clear amber with average, fizzy white head; decent retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is caramel and straw malt, citrus fruit, grassy hops, and light spice. Flavor is malt forward with supporting hops and some fruit esters; semi-sweet finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Pours from the 12 oz. bottle an iced tea-ish brown color with a 1/2 finger foam that settles into a medium collar. Carbonation appears to be very light...not many bubbles. Aroma is of slightly sweet caramel malt. 1st sip brings a rather dry flavor that somewhat belies the aroma. Mouthfeel is right down the middle, not heavy or watery. Overall, a nice brown ale.

Poured light copper in color, with a thin head. Aroma is floral, with a little bit of citrus. Taste is grapefruit, grass and sweet tea on the tip of the tongue. Pretty good.

Amber in color with a diminishing white head. Smoothe caramel malt, toffee notes some hearty bread notes and perfumey alcohol. Above average Alt.
