COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bold, American-style IPA featuring Falconer’s Flight hops. The recipe is very simple and involves cramming hops into the beer at every opportunity. This beer was featured as the first of our 2013 Brown Bag series, and has been oft-requested since.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized fluffy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and tart with pine and catbox. The flavor was bitter, tangy and tart with notes of pine, catbox, cactus and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Grassy nose, moderate strength. Immaculately clear amber, medium head with nice lacing. Lemongrass to a marigold finish. Medium body, oily, intense bitterness, even perfumey, easy carbonation. The intensity makes it like drinking an IPA for the first time. Eye opening.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Nikki’s Liquors, 4/10/15

Aroma: The aroma is dank citrus, a little grass comes through on the finish
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with an off-white head and some light lacing
Flavor: The flavor is fairly bitter, minimal to no sweetness, decent, but a little one note
Palate: The body is medium, fairly smooth on the mouth, with a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression: Nice beer overall. It’s close to being really good, but just doesn’t quite there. Definitely worth trying though.

I tried this at a Brew Fest at the Holyoke Canoe Club. Very good. Long Trail beers are not readily available in my area. If you get a shot, it's worth a try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Moriartys. Slightly hazy orange amber pour with a generous foamy white head. Unexpectedly dry earthy floral hops beer. Tangerine peels. No 2 pencils. Grapefruit marmalade. Paper. Peppercorns. Passionfruit. Wildflower honey. Driftwood. Varnish. Orange peppers. Feels unusual. Like it quite a bit!
