This is a very pedestrian brown ale. Not too hoppy, malty, or sweat. You can detect just a hint of he maple syrup claimed on the label. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

clear brown amber, no head; aroma is reminiscent of a red lager; flavor and feel are like a red/amber lager with some notes of roasted malt.; not much finish dry and tartish.

Bottle. Soft malt aroma, clear, light brown color, light head. Very thin body - almost watery, taste is a little sour which is not right for this type. Not one to go back to.

This is an easy drinking ale. It is not too hoppy and has that great fall taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where’s the maple syrup? Couldn’t smell and couldn’t taste it, but it’s advertised on the bottle. Anyway, this is a typical nutty brown ale. Little too bubbly for me and light, would have liked something a bit heavier. This beer is ok, but nothing special.

On tap at Parker Pie. Dark copper brown pour, clear with white head. Aroma is quite malty roasty, toast. Taste is malty, toast and bready. Good little mild

With the name and even taste, I thought this beer was an octoberfest beer. Pourse an orange/amber, minimal head, toast, little hop flavoring for an amber. But the 3.6%abv, I guess there would be little hop taste. light body, thin feel for an amber, finishes clean. Decent.

Pours a clear amber/brown with a soft two finger head. Aroma resembles a brown ale. Some mild roasty notes and the slightest amount of hop bitterness upfront. Sweet, malty finish, maple syrup finish, which makes sense Light, lightly carbonated mouthfeel - only 3.6% ABV and tastes almost like a carbonated British bitter. All in all, not a bad beer but nothing really to recommend it either in my opinion.

draft at Coles, light amber pour. Toasty aroma with some caramel maltiness. Almost marzen like, pretty simple flavor, drinkable but little else

Pours a clear red-brown with a minimal head. Smells of cooked vegetables, caramel, nuts, bread, maple syrup. Taste is mildly sweet and bitter, hint of maple syrup, nuts, hint of chocolate.
