On tap at Parker Pie. Dark copper brown pour, clear with white head. Aroma is quite malty roasty, toast. Taste is malty, toast and bready. Good little mild

With the name and even taste, I thought this beer was an octoberfest beer. Pourse an orange/amber, minimal head, toast, little hop flavoring for an amber. But the 3.6%abv, I guess there would be little hop taste. light body, thin feel for an amber, finishes clean. Decent.

Pours a clear amber/brown with a soft two finger head. Aroma resembles a brown ale. Some mild roasty notes and the slightest amount of hop bitterness upfront. Sweet, malty finish, maple syrup finish, which makes sense Light, lightly carbonated mouthfeel - only 3.6% ABV and tastes almost like a carbonated British bitter. All in all, not a bad beer but nothing really to recommend it either in my opinion.

draft at Coles, light amber pour. Toasty aroma with some caramel maltiness. Almost marzen like, pretty simple flavor, drinkable but little else

Pours a clear red-brown with a minimal head. Smells of cooked vegetables, caramel, nuts, bread, maple syrup. Taste is mildly sweet and bitter, hint of maple syrup, nuts, hint of chocolate.

Sampled at buffalo brewfest. Amber capped by off white head. Pine and citrus nose. Nice full body compliment the caramel malt, pine resin, and cutting bitterness.

A little bit of the maple syrup comes through on first taste, but some lingering, cloying sweetness remains. Watery mouthfeel. Light brown in color, with no head and light carbonation. To me the maple detracts from what might have been a nice brown ale..

12oz bottle. I tend to think that this is one of the most under rated fall seasonals. Pour is a nice darker amber hue, white head, good carbonation. Aromas indicate some sweetness, nutty, toffee, the maple is dulled. Palate is a tad on the sweeter side, not cloying, but as far as autumn beers go very refreshing for the chilly weather.

Deep amber color. No head, little bubbling. Sweet aroma like cherry candy. Tastes like an amber cherry beer. Pass.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s in State College, PA. Pours a clear brown-amber colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is medium sweet with some, caramel, toffee bread, a touch of toast, and some chewy nuts. Flavor is similar. Medium sweet caramel, toast, nuts, and a bit of toffee before a very light roast and some grains come in to help dry this with a light bitterness. Medium length aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an easy drinking amber/brown ale. Some decent malt sweetness with a touch of roast and toast. Pretty simple all-around, but not bad.
