3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the 12 pack
Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a huge bubbly off white head that persists forever. Smells of bread citrus and light caramel with a hint of fruity esters. Flavor is quite malty for an IPA with huge bread and caramel notes offset with just enough earthy hops to keep it from being too sweet. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet somewhat chalky mouthfeel. Middle of the road, old school, English inspired pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I’d hoped that the previous ratings weren’t exactly true, but they were...this beer has a nice aroma, but is seriously lacking on the IPA bitterness we have come to love. The aftertaste while at first is pretty palatable, eventually becomes a bit skunky and then dry.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is citrus, earthy malts and a hint of spices. The flavor is citrus/possibly Challenger hops, earthy malts, very mild hop resin notes and a dry/slightly tart finish. Not bad, but better labeled as an ESB.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance is a golden colored body with no head and leaves a ringy spotty laciness around the glass.
The smell has hops, subdued pine, mild malt background.
The taste is bitter through the hops and the pine, subdued malts coming through as the beer warms.
The palate is about a medium, sessionable, bitter yet malty coating over the mouth and tongue, no aftertaste, watery finish.
Overall, not a bad IPA, good.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2014 Horrible representative of the IPA style. More like a sour lager. There is some bitterness and faint hops, but it’s more like a failed attempt.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Gold, a little haze, nice lacing. Orange, lemon, crisp, a touch of bitterness, drinkable easy ipa. Pretty good, semi-classic. Best option at a neighborhood happy hour.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from Drum Hill Liqour, Chelmsford, MA. Amber with a thin white head; heady, sweet, fruit blossom, aroma; slightly acidic fruity bitter taste; with some warming spicy hops to finish. Very pleasant and drinkable, but certainly neither a traditional IPA, nor a modern American one.
