COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Real India Pale Ale (IPA), as it was first brewed in the days of the British Empire, was not the carefully filtered brew that we call IPA beer today. The first IPAs were unfiltered and featured extra hops and higher strength as a preservative for the long trip from England to the colony of India. Our Traditional IPA ale is naturally carbonated, dry-hopped & unfiltered like the old days.

Bottle from lou18 Thanks!

Pours a rich orange with a peculiar aroma of banana and gum. Slight tinge of grapefruit as it warms. Suitable head with clinging lace. Taste is a mild flood of hops, citrus, and sour. Nice, refreshing. Palate is nice. If not for the relatively high ABV, this would make a great session beer. I like this one. Really, really good. Honest, straigthforward, and tasty. Must have more.

Drought. Rich yellow with small foamy off-white head, doughy aroma, sweetish hoppy taste, medium finish. Quite mellow for an IPA

The aroma is musty, earthy, dry hopped. The appearance is hazy orange, white head. The flavor is like the aroma, hop forward. The finish is flowers, pine. Not bad at all.

Uploading old reviews that were missing comments. Non-descript IPA. Hop profile is lackluster and uninteresting. Overrated due to its availability in the Northeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Coppery gold in color, fairly balanced with a nice dash of hops. Still, not a tremendous standout for an IPA.

Very light body, good option for a person trying to ease their way into IPAs. Not one for a true IPA lover

on tap in New Hope - served too cold - Pours an amber-orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus, spruce. Taste is bitter and mildly sweet - moderate American hops flavor, decent balance with malt.

Tap. Cloudy yellow orange with a nice head that remained for a while. Orange, pine, grapefruit. Slight juice, mild bitterness and soft finish. Not exciting but a decent IPA

Draft @ State Theater while attending a Devil Makes Three show. Poured into a plastic cup with a finger of fizzy foam. Nose is spicy earth and a touch of malt....on the palate there comes some bitterness but the spice is a tad overwhelming... not sure what hop strain is used here but its really spicy. Touch of sweetness from the malts offsets the spice a touch and a good bitterness on the finish.
