This IPA is big and brimming with the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest.

Bottle. Pour is kind of a dingy good with a fluffy white head and aromas of honey, oranges and soap. Flavor is soapy, floral and lightly citrus, but this IPA doesn’t have enough of a hope punch for my palate.

Dear long trail: you did an ipa justice! It's a stand out! Grapefruit twist and a high end citrus swallow. Great example of a stand alone stand out of the crowd ipa! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours hazy golden, nice two finger pillow head, nice lacing and retention. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon and caramel. Taste is hoppy bitter with just enough sweet malt for balance. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes extremely balanced with notes of spruce, grapefruit, kiwi fruit, toffee, tangerine and light resin. This one’s a real winner!

On tap. Pours soft golden with thin white head. Initial floral aromas. Light on the tounge with a sweet bite and slight overtones of hops. Leaves a citrus aftertaste.

Giving this a high score on appearance due to the huge frothy head like whipped cream. Sweet hop aroma. Biscuity middle with caramel notes. End with a peppery bitterness in the sides of the mouth. Rough and raw mouth feel.

Bright gold color with small white head and nice messy lacing. Aroma and flavor have great citrusy hops, fruityness, pine and resin, just a little bitterness, and dry malty finish. Pretty good

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with long lasting white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, orange marmalade, caramel malt and ripe fruit. Body is medium and tangy. Citrusy hops, alcohol, bready and caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. There is something unpleasant in the taste. Finish is long, grapefruity. Ok IPA,

Bottle marked 09/26/14. Nose tons of strong, fresh rind and tropical fruit, lovely citrus coating all over, some muskmelon and honeydew. Pours lightly hazy dull copper with slightly above-average carbonation and a large, sudsy yellow-tinged beige head. Taste sweet but not too sweet, superbly juicy, medium bitterness but still under balance, lots more melon an citrus in rind, light but rounding wood with a bit of a drying effect. Kiwi! Medium-full body, dash of alcohol showing but still enchained, faint spice, smooth with light crispness, refreshing above its bold flavors. Juicy, fruity flavor is just fantastic the whole way, kudos to Long Trail!
