This IPA is big and brimming with the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest.

Deep orange pour, big foamy off-white head. Huge spicy pine aroma, notes of orange and tangerine. Aroma is big pine flavor, with orange notes, and an unpleasant bubble-gum sweet finish, marring an otherwise great brew.

Clear blonde colour. Terrific aroma of hops, grass, pine, flowers, citrus, berries, strawberries, raspberries. Thin body, hoppy content, fruity finish. Fairly bitter on the end. Clean. Cool label.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Samuel Adams pint glass. The color is a somewhat cloudy light yellowish/gold with a finger of foamy white head and some nice lacing. The hops come out in the nose and are really inviting with some nice floral hop aroma. There is a touch of tangy sweetness here with some slight citrus and sweet malt in the background. The taste is bitter at first, of coarse, with hops engulfing a slight citrus flavor mixed with tangerine and a little peach flavor is hiding in there as well. There is a sweetness there that does come out to put a nice break in the bitterness. The feel of this beer is lighter then other IPAs in it’s class. It has a drinkable feel and goes down well with only a slight kick toward the end.

Hazy gold with bubbly lacy white head; aroma is piney hops; Flava is hoppy spicy; feels light to medium and fizzy zingy; finishes dry bitter with some grassy grainy herbal notes

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a 3/4" off-white head. Aroma of hops - mainly citrus with a touch of pine notes - and malt which balance nicely. Medium-light body, leans more towards the hop side. Fairly clean finish, slightly dry. Good beer!

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tropical and citrus hops. The taste is tropical and stone fruit, mild caramel malt. Medium bodied, low carbonation, fairly boring.

12oz into a stemmed belgain 16.9oz glass. Pours a rusted orange amber, full bodied brew, looks fantastic. Lacing is plentiful and sticks around awhile, sticky and fervent, it withstands the downfall of the head, which is thin yet encompassing of the brew. Aroma of sweet and frontal fruits, a hoppy tropical vibe, love it. Taste is the same, juicy citrus and fruits all over meshed with a tangy and tasty mix of these new hops from down under. Works for me. This may be the best Long Trail has yet to offer. Solid at 7.6, is it a double? imperial? Or just a fantastical rendition of an east coast ipa. Heard they are expanding production of this at the brewery. Good call. Great beer.
