3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at some place in Morrisville that used to be a train station (and had really good food to boot). Prettymuch what all the guys below me said. Juicy, sweet malt, mango, grapefruit, lots of lace yadda yadda..... not dismissing it at all but really i can’t add much more than what’s already been said about this.

Draft at Honey’s. Pours kind of cloudy copper, white head, lots of lace. Tastes sweet and bitter. Numbs the tongue a bit.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big, persistent aroma, with bright and clean tropical+citrus notes. Firm bitterness that is nicely balanced by a smooth malty finish that makes it very drinkable. I did not expect this from Long Trail. This is the balance that I like in an American IPA.

Bottle from Robbie, Purchased near the source. Pours a slightly opaque orange with a medium white head. Aroma is earthy, citrus, malt, bready, light pine, mangoooo. Taste is pine, citrus / grapefruit, mango, sweet malt, grass. Pretty drinkable all the way through, some orange zest / hop bitters on the aftertaste. Medium body. Best long trail beer I have ever had by a long shot

Very easy drinking IPA. Blend of hops is interesting and good. Well done by Long Trail.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Shop Rite - Hoboken, 3/27/14
Aroma: It has a nice, fresh pine needle hop aroma, fruity and floral notes, and some spice
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a thin beige head and some streaky lacework
Flavor: The flavor is sweet early with a medium hop bitterness mid way through to the finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a creamy feel, average-to-soft carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
This one was a bit of a surprise. Especially the aroma. This is a really solid IPA. I especially like the way the pine needles play here.

pours hazy yellow with a small yet creamy white cap showing some retention and lacing. danky mangoes, some other juicy tropical fruits, doughy honeyed pale maltiness, tingling booze, grassy pine needles - never too resinous, some bitter herbs and pepper. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily, sticky, assertive yet balanced grassy-tropical-citrusy-piney finish. enjoyed!
