On tap at Barcade, pours hazy amber with medium frothy white head and nice lacing. Aromas and flavor are grapefruit, crisp malt, light grape sugar, and lemon bitterness. Medium in body. Pretty solid overall just a hint too sweet

From bottle. Very nice tropical fruit and sweet aromatics on the hops. Apricot, mango. Some dankness. Caramel. Warm amber-orange haze with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium body with heavy carbonation. Starts sweet with caramel, biscuit, and a dank hop note. Mild tropical fruit and a bit of carbonic bite. Big hop bitterness comes through at the end, and after is medium strong bitter with notes of apricot.

Bottle from Joeís. Bright clear copper with head and lace. Complex spicy citrus orange aroma. Mild sweet fruity peach with hints of toasted caramel with assertive orange rind and spicy hop lingering bitterness. Fairly dry and well-attenuated. Lively carbo accentuates the hops. Excellent. Itís about time Long Trail got their shit together.

I live in Bloomington, Indiana and Long Trailís Limbo added to my enjoyable trip to Vermont. This IPA among some of the best in the country. It has that lovely rich Simcoe hops bouquet.

Does everyone make great IPAs these days or what? Iíve had a lot of different Long Trail and always thought they were middle of the road all the way around, but this is a knockout. Overpowering aroma of pine needles, grass and grapefruit -- you can smell it before the beer gets to your nose. Hazy golden color, lots of lace. Taste is puckering, sweet, juicy. 7.6% seems hard to believe. Top flight IPA.
