This IPA is big and brimming with the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest.

Tap @ O’Banks. Golden with creamy head. Smells like tangerine, pineapple, earth, pith, and pine- but modest. Perfumy flavor work a little white pepper.

12oz bottle. Pour is a off orange/yellow with adequate head that dissolved at a reasonable rate. Light on the citrus and pine, but definitely there. Finish is mildly bitter with lingering aftertaste. Not outstanding, but a solid IPA.

Bottle just bought in CO, but date not checked...49 weeks old! I’ll give em credit and perhaps a tiny boost for this not being horrible, but muted bitter orange and malt was all that was going on. Will re-rate fresh, hopefully.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2016 Draft @ Renaissance EWR. Pleasant, light hoppy aroma. Clear light amber color with white head that quickly dissipates. Smooth flavor, with a little piney taste, offset well with malt. Overall, a pretty good IPA.

One of my favorite IPAs. From start to finish it has a smooth taste that doesn’t leave a bitter after taste behind.

Bottle. Poured a pretty clear amber color, small white bubbly head. Aroma of citrus and hints of pine. Flavor had lemon and light grapefruit notes with hints of tea. Medium body, sticky texture, bubbly carbonation, bitter on the finish. Not bad.

On draught at Winking Lizard. Hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, grassy hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Enjoyed several pints of this beer at a hotel in Woodstock, Vermont. The beer had a rich, dark amber-copper color with a good-sized creamy off-white head with very good retention, and excellent cling and lacing. Its aroma featured floral and citrus hops with some pine and yeast, along with a blend of spices. It was a strongly bitter beer with a pleasant blend of citrus and floral flavors along with a bit of yeast and spice. The beer had a fairly full body with average to high carbonation and a dry effect.

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy dirty dark amber color, frothy 2" beige head, bands of lace. Aroma of mild malt and citrus hops. Taste is caramel malt that adds medium carbonation on the swallow as it moves to clean, solid bitter orange hops. The hops are certainly strong when they land, but they don’t stay very long. A good, full-bodied brew, but not great. LT Double Bag is similar, but I think it is much superior.
