This IPA is big and brimming with the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest.

Meh...not a fan of these "new breed of hops" that have the melon and tropical fruit flavors and this beer is full of them. Aroma was melon and a slight malt undertone. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was nasty. Tropical fruit with a strong melon and cantaloupe hop flavor. Not much else comes out. Nice carbonation. Give me an insanely bitter overbalanced IPA any day over this.

Delicious flavorful ipa with just the right amount of hops. I bought a six pack right after I first tried it. No regrets.

12oz bottle from Wegmans, Buffalo, NY. A slightly hazy amber pour with a loose soapy looking white head; subdued tropical fruit aroma; slightly muddy tropical fruit taste at first, but developing a stronger woody bitterness before an alcohol lead finish. Rather unbalanced and muddy - but with the potential to be much better.

Bottle from Craft. Nice notes of hop, pine, yeast, caramel malts and spice. The body was a tad thin, but overall a solid brew.

Light amber pour with a full white head. Aroma is juicy citrus, pine, a bit catty. Flavor is full, bursting with grapefruit, orange pith. Very sticky, dank. Pretty tasty, but a bit boozy on the finish.

Draft pours cloudy amber. Smells like feet. Taste very good. I would definitely recommend.

Tap. Pours a copper color with a solid head. Lots of piney hops flavors. Not enough malt backbone for my tastes. To much astringency in the aftertaste. OK but not great.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear gold with a foamy, off-white head. The nose has nips of melon, orange, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with some gooey tangerine, light piney bitterness, bready pale malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, a little resinous, with more ripe and lightly gooey citrus fruits, oily pine. Good stuff.

Nice aromas, citrus lemon tangerine, some malt, after first sip had to recheck alcohol, comes across much more heavy than 7.6, slight astringent taste like overripe pineapple which loses a lot of the hoppy ness, little bitterness that doesn’t linger, drinkable but does not seem up to par with Vermont’s elite.

Dec. 22, 2014. 12 oz. bottle; shaker glass. A previous reviewer hilariously (I thought, before sampling) used the term "cat urine" to describe this product. However, having both tended to an ailing feline and sampled this ale, the comparison is startlingly-apt. Generally love IPAs, and can almost envision where this brew was trying to go, but something went terribly, horribly wrong on this particular "long trail." (Maybe this was a bad one; am open to a re-rate.)
