This IPA is big and brimming with the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest.

Aromas of citrus, pine, juicy hop tones, caramel, faint rye. Clear light red with a decently lasting beige head. Dry, malty, fruity, kind of spicy. Medium bodied.

Pours a pretty clear strong golden with medium foamy head that stays for a moderate duration and leave good lacing. Nose is of melon, generally fruity hops and light alcohol. Taste is more melon and bitterness is medium-high. Light fruit juice impression and some caramel. Some perfume. Body is medium, carbonation too. Mouthfeel is a little sticky. Overall a good IPA by Long Trail, not quite how I like mine usually but still well-made and enjoyable. Just a touch too alcoholic, maybe?

Hazy golden amber, some suspended particulates, and lots of foam that dissipates fast. Nose is spicy tropical fruits and melon. Very juicy with mild bittering on finish. Lots of melon, pine apple, and candied cherry. None of the spicy notes come through on the tongue. It’s a refreshing drink with very light body. Feels kind of like a fruit cocktail rather than fruit juice. It’s cold out right now in PA but I think this would make a refreshing summer porch beer.

Cloudy amber pour, off white head. Aroma is typical ipa, citrus, grapefruit and hops. Taste is citrus and hops. Pretty well balanced and smooth. Easy and not overpowering. Good IPA.

Pours an amber from the tap, a nice fruity aroma, big hop flavor with some good sweet maltiness. Very good beer.

Poured from bottle. Cloudy amber with low white head. Aroma is fresh melon, pineapple. Taste is juicy and fruity, not overly bitter, just a note in the finish.

Meh...not a fan of these "new breed of hops" that have the melon and tropical fruit flavors and this beer is full of them. Aroma was melon and a slight malt undertone. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was nasty. Tropical fruit with a strong melon and cantaloupe hop flavor. Not much else comes out. Nice carbonation. Give me an insanely bitter overbalanced IPA any day over this.

Delicious flavorful ipa with just the right amount of hops. I bought a six pack right after I first tried it. No regrets.
