UPDATED: FEB 13, 2014 surprisingly very good ipa, on tap at Cole’s. Reddish colour with a little lace and head. Big IBU/ Decent drinkability, with some complex flavours. I had again several weeks later and the nose of grapefruit was great.

Draft. Poured copper colored with off-white head. Nose was tropical fruit including mango, tangerine, black pepper. Tasted rich and complex, with a spare caramel malt bill balanced by tropical fruity hops, and a smooth finish. This is a top notch IPA.

12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany) pours hazy copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, floral notes, and a bready caramel maltiness. Flavour is quite odd, with some weird vegetal notes, pungent herbal hops, and a bready caramel maltiness. Flavour profile seems to transition through various phases, starting with the vegetal notes, moving towards the more conventional IPA-hoppiness, and then to the bready caramel malts. Not the most refined recipe here, but it’s quite drinkable and moderately enjoyable.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a hazy golden-orange with some sediment and a small lasting frothy white head. Aroma of catty, hempy and floral hops foremost along with some tropical fruit and that’s it -- it’s mainly hops. Hoppy flavour, same aforementioned hops, fruitier then the aroma, and with some bready malt. Long sharp bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden. Medium bodied. A solid IPA.
