12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale lightly toasted malts, faint hops and even fainter honey. The taste is dry biscuity malts followed by a bit of honey and caramel and a spicy hop finish. Light body. Decent.

Loved the Pollenater even more so than my normal Long Trail Ale IPA. Great summer beer for those long dusky into night evenings with friends and food. great taste and refreshing flavors meld with a nice colorization. Super if you can get it on tap but from the bottle it is just as good

Poured from bottle into pint glass & served about 47 degrees. Aroma was of honey, bread, and a touch of pine. poured clear orange w/ thin head & lace that lasted. Balanced taste included caramel, toast, and hop notes w/ mild hoppy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin - medium. Very drinkable & refreshing, would recommend this beer.

beerfest5 (1147) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAR 21, 2010
boring spring ale from a brewer that im liking less and less. no head, which could have been a bad pour, nothing interesting about the color or the aroma. taste was very bland and although they advertise the honey added during the making process, nothing in the flavor besides some grass and some sticky sweetness. wont make the mistake again.

Pint at the brewery. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is quite light but with a distinct, soft sweetness. A bit of toastiness and a kiss of lightly floral hops. A touch of lingering sweetness. It’s pretty light, but it’s pretty balanced and drinks well.

Bottle courtesy of VanillaMike. Pours a clear golden amber with a short-lived white head that doesn’t leave many remnants behind. The aroma is lighted toasted caramel with some lemon zest and honey. It’s not the most striking nose. The taste isn’t far off from the aroma with the light malts underpinning a nondescript sweetness that might have some honey in there. The hops are present but pretty muted. The mouthfeel is light bodied and clean in the finish with decent carbonation. This is a fairly refreshing beer, but there’s not much complexity in it and the body isn’t quite up to snuff. Not one I would seek out.
