20th Anniversary Limited Release! 22oz brown glass pry-top. Date stamp on neck 060209. Appearance: Poured into a Long Trail Imperial pint. Thick bone white stiff head on top of a crystal clear amber beer. Nose: Some sweet honey notes, wild flowers, light biscuity note. Palate: Medium-bodied and sweet with honey up front. The honey fades into English ale-like malt flavors, and rounds out. The finish picks up an odd bitter note, doesn’t seem like hop bitterness, more earthy and twig-like bitterness. Notes: An easy going summer sipper. Nothing fancy, but fairly smooth and drinkable. FFO Magic Hat’s Hocus Pocus.

Pretty average blond, even with the addition of the honey. The sweetness certainly pops up everywhere. But, it begs the question, why do it? Not much else to say.

12oz. Bottle into pint glass. Aroma was... plastic-y? I don?t know how to describe it. It wasn?t offensive, just... odd. Appearance was golden yellow, which was expected. Taste is one dimensional, bitter taste that lingers on the back of the tongue. I remember this being a better beer last time I had it. Overall, it isn?t that great, but I have had much worse

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a straw/barf nastiness. Flavor is earthy with a touch of bitter spicy/grassiness...lots of straw and mild breadiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a earthy/barfy slightly bitter finish. Sucks.

Bottle. This is pretty much what you’d expect all the way around. Light and clear golden straw color, sticky white head. Oozes with a sticky sweetness, the honey most evident. Finishes with an odd mellow funkiness. My burly buddies would call this a ’chick beer’. (#4570, 4/22//2012)

On tap at waterfront ale house with Joey. Simple ale.. More interesting than your run of the mill lager. Some honey and crisp.

Faint aroma of honey. Pale golden yellow . Has a mild bitter sweet but refreshingly dry finish. Easy drinking and perfect for the warm weather months ahead.
