We've brewed our filtered IPA for 13 years, and never considered offering the REAL (unfiltered) version that is naturally carbonated just as it comes out of our fermenters. Well here it is! We hope you enjoy our REAL IPA.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy golden, mid-sized airy head. Appley nose. Fairly sweet with medium body. Fruity and a bit grainy with notes of hay and orange. Much less aromatic and with less bling bling and shiny hop surface than most American IPAs. Instead it is in possession of depth and soul. This, minus the appley nose, would be something great. Finishes with increasing balanced bitterness. A timid, introvert IPA, made for those who look beyond the search for BIG flavours.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber gold with a foamy/creamy 2 finger off-white head. Aroma is floral with some mild citrus and a little caramel. Mouthfeel is rather lush. Flavor is very floral/citrus and almost hides the caramel. Quite hoppy, though not burningly bitter, and with time thereís some graprefruit rind detectible. Good stuff.

12oz bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky white head that laces and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is nice perfumy, sweet apricot/lemon-hops. Taste is mild perfumy, slight bitterness, sweet lemon hops, secondary medium malt. Some raw/dry hops at the finish. OK/mild carbonation. Nice session IPA.

A golden IPA with athick creamy off white head. In aroma, light floral hops, biscuitty malt. In mouth, crisp malt with light German like hops, not bad, but not what I expected. Served too cold. On tap at Holiday Inn, Burlington VT, Jan. 12 2010.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Alraomon. Thanks! Pours a light golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Very floral hop aroma with some citrus notes as well as some sweet malts. Taste is citrus hops with a floral finish. Light toffeeish malts as well. Medium bodied.

12oz bottle. Opened to a loud Pssst and proceeded to poure all, and I mean all, off white head. Eventually settled into a deep and cloudy golden color. Aromas of citrus and wet grains. Tastes of citrus, spicy and the same graininess.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2009 Pint at the brewery. As always with IPAs, freshness is the key. Hazy pale golden pour with a thick and sticky white head that leaves a lingering lace all down the glass. The nose is quite nice with prominent aromas of grapefruit and orange peel along with a zesty spiciness. Fresh and fruity tasting with a bit of lingering zesty hoppiness. Really, itís quite an appealing pint. It tastes so much better than I recall... so much so that I think Iíll have another. Pale golden, quite cloudy with a thin white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a touch of lemony citrus. A soft spicy hoppiness with a lot of lemon over the top. Decently hoppy with a soft sweet maltiness to balance. Itís basic, but decent. 7 3 6 3 12

12oz bottle. Hazy golden straw color. Nose is a bit weird, more tin and plastic than anyone would like, but also with a nail polish remover chemical note underneath some generic grassy hop oil and lime scents. Salty taste of cut grass, leafy, but also more of this chemical flavor with a bit of an oily texture. not a complete disaster, but a pretty average IPA at best.
