2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another bottle thanks OldGrowth (and another rating moved to the correct spot thanks to him)! Pours pretty clear for an unfiltered beer. Smells of, well, beer. A little malt, a little hops. Nothing really distinguishing. Taste is about the same. Not very hoppy, not very bitter. Nothing offensive, just not all that much there. I read ClarkVVís defense of this beer with respect to the DFH 60-minute. I donít really like very bitter IPAs (I thought the Two Hearted Ale was almost undrinkable and it shot my palate for the rest of the night), but I also like something interesting from my beers, and this didnít have it. You can definitely go too far in any dimension, but for my money, Iíd like something that goes farther than this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint glass. Decent IPA, total score makes it seem worse than it is. Standard issue copper color, thin white head that sticks around. Lacks the vibrant floral aroma that really good IPAs have, which is unfortunate. I am big on aroma, almost as important as taste, IMO. Not terribly hoppy. If youíre a big hop fan, youíll be disappointed. Slightly bitter after taste. Overall, not bad, just kinda leaves you hanginí.......

Bottle. At last, a lager and a IPA wannabe get married. And somehow, it comes out o.k.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle, pours a honey gold color with nice carbonation. Hops are mild, not a bold IPA, glad I tried but no high marks for this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of yeast and soggy hops.
Tastes of grapefruit and cantaloupe rind, with minimal bitterness. Malt is decently balanced with subtle caramel notes. Very dull bitter aftertaste.
Palate is light bodied with little alcohol mouthfeel.
Overall a boring IPA. The short coming is in the hops, which are bland and lacking in clarity.
