Good but not great. Good bitterness but a little sweet. Not outstanding but over all enjoyable.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ausomeawestin (63) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Aroma of yeast and soggy hops.
Tastes of grapefruit and cantaloupe rind, with minimal bitterness. Malt is decently balanced with subtle caramel notes. Very dull bitter aftertaste.
Palate is light bodied with little alcohol mouthfeel.
Overall a boring IPA. The short coming is in the hops, which are bland and lacking in clarity.

Bottle pours a murky golden with a large white top. Scent is floral. Taste is a hoppy hefe.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 NormLovesBeer (19) - Hampton, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Pours a Orange-Yellow in color with little to no head. Small head leaves some lacing down the glass. Has little to no carbonation. Appears somewhat cloudy/hazy in color. Aroma is a sweet floral scent, as well as some aroma of caramel. Taste is hoppy, floral, and bitter. I don’t think it’s as good as "Harpoon IPA", but this is not a bad little IPA from this small independent brewer! A good beer to drink on a warm Spring day, or Summer evening.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 coolfunnj (251) - Margate City, New Jersey, USA - JUN 27, 2012
aroma..very lagerlike, yeasty and floral hops candy like malt..amber yellow color slight head mild lacing..tastes like a slightly hoppier midchelob so if you like michelob get this,.not a terrific example of an ipa..drinkable,light to medium bodied, but overall..lacking the malt and hoppy dichotomy of a good ipa

Bottle. Not a bad one from these guys. Some caramel notes, tropical fruit and pine. There is some grapefruit and floral notes in this finish.
I did find it a bit thin in the body.

not a bad beer at all, actually quite good compared to the rest of long trails line up. bright orange with aroma of lemon and orange zest with a little grapefruity zing, taste is similar with the added english malt vareity sweetness. a good overall east cost ipa.
