Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, fizzy to frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120504]

Ascot Beer Festival 2012. Pours a mid brown colour with a thin white head, malty aroma, taste is bitter with hints of carmel, with a dry finish.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’12. Copper with white head. Quite a drying beer with a biscuity body, although there is a boiled vegetable note too. Dry, leafy hop note. Reasonable.

Copper coloured with a thin white head.
Sweetish malt nose with a touch of grain and straw.
A little toffee and biscuit allied to malt in the taste.
Lightish body average bitter.

Copper coloured session beer.slight malt with hops, squeezes plenty of flavour into 3.6%. Not sure I could spend an evening with it though.

Cask gravity, Leicester BF, 08/03/12. Sesame aroma; damp woodland. Brown bitter with aniseed and biscuit leanings; a seawater minerality, possibly twigs. Light finishing nuttiness, cabbage. Clean but not my type.

50cl bottle from the Home Brew Shop, Aldershot. Bottle conditioned. Golden amber with a rapidly fading white head; a touch cloudy and with some sediment and light carbonation; malty aroma with a touch of farmyard; citrus flavours and a lightly bitter finish with a little spice. Not a bad light bitter.
